The PYOBD300 Opposed Blade Damper is designed for precise air volume control in supply and exhaust air systems. The opposed blade mechanism provides even air distribution across the grille or diffuser face, making it ideal for balancing and fine airflow adjustment. Constructed from lightweight aluminium, it combines durability, ease of operation, and compatibility with a wide range of diffusers and duct systems.

Application

Opposed Blade Dampers are installed directly behind supply or exhaust grilles to achieve accurate airflow control. They are suitable for fine trimming of air quantities (up to 37 Pa) where quiet operation is required. The cog system ensures the blades turn in sequence for smooth, even adjustment. Dampers can be positioned anywhere between fully open and fully closed and are supplied with side plates as standard for mounting to diffusers or sheet metal ducts.
